Welcome to Csharp Goldens, where our goldens are family! We’re a Houston, Texas based kennel with active membership in the Greater Houston Golden Retriever Club and the Golden Retriever Club of America. Our passion is breeding, raising and showing golden retrievers.
Our breeding program is second to none – as an American Kennel Club Breeder of Merit, we follow responsible breeding practices that prioritize the health and well-being of our dogs and puppies. We work hard to ensure we are bettering the breed, with strict standards of OFA clearances for hip, elbow, eye, heart, and thyroid. Our sires and dams also undergo extensive genetic testing, and they are selected for breeding based on health, temperament and performance. This ensures our litters are healthy and embody the loveable characteristics that golden retrievers are known for. Furthermore, our puppies are hand raised in a loving home environment where they receive 24/7 supervision, early socialization, and basic obedience training to prepare them for life ahead, whether it’s as a beloved and well-behaved family pet or as a performer in the show ring.
In addition to our breeding program, we are also accomplished dog handlers with over 30 years of experience and expertise in raising and showing dogs. We use training methods that are gentle, positive, and tailored to the individual needs of each dog to help them reach their full potential. We have earned numerous prestigious awards and accolades for our exceptional showmanship and presentation of our dogs and are proud to be recognized nationally as one of the best in the industry. As a result of our extensive experience as breeders and dog handlers, we are uniquely positioned to provide top-notch care and training for our dogs and puppies. This means our litters are top-notch, too! We typically have only one to two litters per year, and are proud to announce that we’re expecting two litters in summer 2023. We are currently looking for qualified families to make loving homes for our puppies.
